The area around our hotel is steeped in history dating back to ancient humans who used to live in the caves. Over time various civilisations arose and fell both before Christ and afterwards, with the proximity to Rome meaning that there were no end of battles and stories about historical events in the region. These different civilizations, powers and peoples have all left their mark on the area and there is no shortage of things to see and do.

The stunning Lake Bolsena, Lake Vico and Lake Bracciano are all nearby and a perfect place for swimming, walking, cycling, picnicking or simply enjoying the views.
